To create a new Events page, follow the same steps you would use to create any custom page within the platform.
See: Add a New Page for more information on creating a new custom page.
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. While in the Your Pages section of Settings, click on the green Add Page button in the top right corner.
3. The information in the right column will now be configurable.
4. Configure the following:
- Type of Page: Page in My Website
- Navigation Label: Events (or similar name)
- Page Title: Events (or similar name)
- *URL: (Will automatically generate based on the Navigation Label)
- Choose a Stand Page Template: Changes the layout structure of all the content on that specific page.
Search Engine Optimization (Optional):
Search Engine Title: The title of the page that appears in search results. Use natural language and keywords that relate to the specific page to boost search rank.
Meta Description: A brief summary that displays below the Search Engine Title in search results. Use this to provide your clients with a short introduction to the content that is on the page to help increase the chance a visitor will click on it.
Tags: A maximum of 5–7 of the most relevant keywords (separated by commas) that pertain to this specific page.
6. When you are finished, click Save This Page to submit the changes to Compliance.
7. The page will now be added at the bottom of the Menu Structure. Refer to Manage the display order of navigation menu items for instructions on how to change the location of the menu item.
