If your website supports multiple languages (see: Adding or Managing Supported Languages (Locales)), in any section of the Digital Workspace where you can add and edit content, you have the option of switching the Language Version of the information you’d like to edit. You can toggle between these versions by clicking the Choose Language drop-down menu located on the page and selecting the other language.
For example: When you select “Français” in the Choose Language drop-down menu, you are now editing the French Language Version of your website. Any content that was created on the English Language Version will automatically generate a Copy of that content on the French Language Version of the page, indicated by a grey Copy badge.
Copy: This badge denotes that another language version of this content exists but has not yet been modified with its corresponding translation.
Each item must be edited individually to include the corresponding translation of that content.
Any time you add or update an English version of a piece of content, you must also update the content on the French version , or the content will not display on the French version of the website. This is to allow the for language-specific content to be omitted on another Language Version when necessary.
Note: The English and French versions of content must be submitted separately. If you submit the English version, it will not submit the French version as these items are submitted to different queues.
