Changing the Default Language of Your Website

Modified on Thu, 4 Sep at 2:03 PM

If your environment supports multiple language versions, you may change the default language that your site displays in for your viewers.

⚠️ Important:

  • Changing the Default Language only affects the public-facing website.

  • It does not change the language of the Digital Workspace interface.

  • The Digital Agent interface will reflect the default language set in your browser settings.

Steps to Change the Default language

1. From the Digital Workspace, navigate to Settings.

Selecting the Settings section of the Digital Workspace

2. On the Your Pages screen, click the Settings tab in the top header.

Selecting the Settings tab in Settings

3. On the Site settings page:

  • Ensure the desired language is selected under Supported Locales.
  • Select the language in the Default Language drop-down menu.

5. A confirmation message will display: “Default Locale saved.” Your website will now display with the corresponding language version by default.
