Reusing or Recovering Content from Your Hub

Modified on Tue, 26 Aug at 11:53 AM

Content Blocks that have been created and approved on your website are saved in the Content Library and can be accessed at any time.

If you accidentally remove a custom content block from a webpage, you can usually recover it by re-adding it from the Content Library.

Important:

  • Once your custom content block has been published and approved, it will appear in the My Hub section of the Content Library. It will remain visible there as long as it stays in an Approved state.

  • If you edit an approved content block and save it as a Draft, it will be temporarily removed from the Content Library. It will only reappear after it has been resubmitted and approved.

⚠️ Warning:
While a content block is in Draft state, selecting Remove will permanently delete the block from the Content Library and remove all instances of it across your website. This action cannot be undone, and the content cannot be recovered.

  2. Sort by A-Z: Sorts the list of available Hubs by A to Z.

Add Content from Your Hub

1. The first section you'll see in the Content Library is Your Hub. This area displays all custom content blocks and updates that have been published and approved specifically for your hub.

  • Custom Content Blocks that you have created will be displayed with a Content block icon paragraph icon
  • *Updates that you have uploaded will be displayed with a Updates icon bell icon.

*Note: Depending on your environment, you may wish to display your Updates using the Updates Web Gadget instead.

2. You may preview the content before you add it to the web page by clicking Preview on the right-side of the row.

3. You may click Add to Page to add it to your page or Back to return to the previous screen.

4. Select the Add button to add your content block to the current page. Your content block will now be added to the top of the page, just below the banner.

5. You may continue adding content to your page, or you may select Close to exit out of the Content Library and preview your content.

Using the Content Library to optimize your workflow

Custom content blocks that have been published and added from the Content Library will automatically sync across your website. This functionality helps streamline editing and minimizes duplicate content.

Example Use Case:

You create a "Contact Us" content block to use as a call-to-action at the bottom of your web pages. After the content block is submitted and approved:

  • Instead of recreating the same content on each page, you can add it directly from the Content Library.

  • Any future edits to this content block (once approved) will automatically update across every page where the block is used.

Going forward, any edits made to this content block—once approved—will automatically sync across all instances where it appears on your website.
