Clients can initiate the process to retake control of your personal website domain. There is a restriction of no more than 25 domains at a time and a new request can begin once all transfers have been completed.
Please note, that by doing so you will be responsible for maintaining your domain's records and validity.
To request control of your domain, please engage the Digital Agent team requesting the transfer a specific domain. If the domain was purchased for transferred in the 60 days prior to the request it would be frozen under ICANN rules.
Once requested, an authorization code will be generated to facilitate the domain transfer.
An Authorization or EPP Code. This is a unique string of characters that acts like a "password" for the transfer.
For clients who utilize multiple domains, multiple authorization codes will be required. Each code is unique and tied to a specific domain.
To initiate a transfer to your new registrar one can proceed with the following steps:
Purchase the Transfer:
Search for "Transfer Domain" on the new registrar’s site. Enter your domain name and pay the transfer fee.
Submit the Authorization Code:
You will be prompted to enter the EPP/Authorization code you gathered
Once the confirmation email is authorized, the domain transfer process should finalize in the following 5-7 days to deliver the domain into your ownership.

Digital Agent utilizes 3rd party hosting and DNS records would still be present post transfer. Once the transfer is completed, records should be added to a service of your choosing and are no longer actively maintained. These records are available via many 3rd party services and should be gathered prior to a transfer request.
