SVG Support Dual Logo Management

For clients that have Dual Logo Management capability available and  enabled, the Dual Logo Management feature has been enhanced to support SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) file format.  Continue utilizing the same user interface and selecting SVG along with PNG and JPG which are available today.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is often preferred over PNG (Portable Network Graphics) or JPG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) in certain situations due to its unique characteristics:

Scalability: SVG images are resolution-independent and can be scaled to any size without losing quality. This makes them ideal for logos, icons, and graphics that need to look sharp on screens of varying sizes and resolutions. PNG and JPG images, being raster-based, can lose quality when scaled up.

File Size: SVG files are typically smaller in size compared to PNG and JPG files, especially for images with complex shapes and gradients. This can lead to faster load times for web pages and lower bandwidth usage.

Dual Logo Management Size Feature

The feature has been enhanced to allow logo size on the website (small / Medium / Large) by changing the reserved space allocated for the logo container..

Feature

  • Logo Size selection and format guidance for web only

  • The logo/s uploaded will only be displayed at the top in the main menu bar according to the user’s selection of the left and/or right placement only. They will NOT be displayed in the automated footer.

  • No extra validations will be added in the UI. The maximum dimension of the logo container will be 560px wide by 75px high.

  • When the user selects Medium OR Large size of the logo, the banner image will shift 5px downwards for medium (since height of medium logo is 70px) and 10px downwards for large (since height of large logo is 75px).

Acceptance Criteria:

  1. Given I am a Web Admin and I have a website, when I go to the Website Settings, I can see the “Settings” tab.

  2. Given I have clicked and landed on the Settings tab, I can see a further list of tabs including “Logo Management”.

    Logo for Web settings:

  3. Given I have clicked and landed on Logo Management,  when I select a logo style on the left logo placement, I can also choose the size of the logo from Small, Medium or Large.

    1. Small - 280px wide by 65px high

    2. Medium - 420px wide by 70px high

    3. Large - 560px wide by 75px high

  4. Given I have clicked and landed on Logo Management,  when I select a logo style on the right logo placement, I can also choose the size of the logo from Small, Medium or Large.

    1. Small - 280px wide by 65px high

    2. Medium - 420px wide by 70px high

    3. Large - 560px wide by 75px high

  5. Given I have selected /chosen the logos for left and right logos for web,  when I upload the two logos and they are in their desired format (.png,.jpg,.jpeg,.gif,.svg) and the logo placement and size have been selected,  then logos upload successfully and changes are saved.

Please Note - For all the permutations and combinations, the final validation error message will be a combined dimension that will be mentioned, that is 560px by 75 px in total.
