Adding a Call to Action Button to Your Banner

What is a Call to Action?

A Call to Action (CTA) is any prompt that encourages your audience to take a specific step.

This often takes the form of a button, link, or phrase that visually stands out and is designed to guide users further into your site, or towards a conversation (eg. filling out a form, scheduling a meeting, etc.).

Examples of a Call to Action:

  • "Schedule a consultation"
  • "Download the full guide"
  • "Take the next steps"

The purpose of a CTA is to encourage your visitors to actively interact with your site by piquing their interest and nudging them towards the next most valuable step in their journey as a prospective client.

The Call to Action within Settings adds a featured button on your home page banner that links directly to another page on your site.

Since the banner is the first things users see, the CTA should be clear, compelling, and point to a page that delivers immediate value—such as your Services, Contact, or About page.

Best pages to link your banner CTA:

  • Contact Us: For visitors who want to connect right away.
  • Services / What We Do: For users who want to quickly understand your offerings.
  • Who We Help: To show your target audience / ideal client that you're speaking directly to them.
  • About: To build trust and credibility with the user.
  • Events / Resources: To highlight upcoming events or provide easy access to valuable client resources you'd like to highlight.
